Reverse Circulation Drilling

Reverse Circulation is the most commonly employed drilling method for grade control in open pit mining operations. This type of drilling is utilised to better define the information already available on the ore grades and ore blocks on the mine in order to optimize ore extraction as well as mine planning and blasting patterns.

Application

  • Primarily used to collect samples from mineral deposits for analysis.
  • Suitable for groundwater exploration and environmental testing.
  • Large-scale blast hole drilling in mining – Contributes to efficient operations in mining

Benefits

  • Provides cleaner, uncontaminated samples, ensuring an accurate geological assessment.
  • Achieves faster drilling speeds compared to conventional methods, enabling timely project completion.
