Where we work

Australia

Master Drilling Australia has been securing contracts in Australia since 2017.

Highlights of activities

We provided a geotechnical solution for Newmont’s Tanami mine, using secant piling and collar cap construction to improve stability, achieving precise drilling accuracy and emphasising safety in a remote setting.

At Oaky Creek North Mine, we tackled challenges like a weathered zone and methane gas presence with geotechnical analysis, steel liners, and gas monitoring, demonstrating our capability in complex operations.

At BMA Broadmeadow Mine, we conducted a thorough geotechnical analysis, designed steel liners, engineered support structures, and monitored methane gas to reinforce structural integrity while adhering to strict safety and quality standards through the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model.

We deployed innovative strategies at Agnew Gold Mine to mitigate safety risks of traditional cutter changing methods by implementing a remote thermal lancing method, as well as utilised a specific tricone bit to ensure the completion of reaming requirements and maintenance of operational continuity
